On 25th October SPES was presented, in Geneva, with the International Gold Star Trophy for Quality by BID - BUSINESS INITIATIVE DIRECTIONS.

This STAR Award encouraged SPES to go sky-high in Vocational Training and we have started constructing "cielnet" to offer training to entrepreneurs to have access to Multi-literacy facilities to develop more creativity and increase production to face the challenges of the New Millennium knowledge-based economy.

  1. pictures of the SPES multi-literacy and product design demonstrations at our stand at the Mauritian Infotech Fair 99 in the Free Port building.

  2. the continued SPES networking executive sub-regional role for industrial transfer at SEPAC - Small Enterprise Promotion Advisory Council, within SADC - Southern African Development Community.
