During
July, the SPES Vocational Teaches ICT-oriented team engaged in preparations
for the display of our Stand D30, which we were able to reserve thanks
to an UK sponsor, at the Infotech Fair August 2007 |
It
was a great joy to see that visitors of all ages showed were keen participants
, as we organised a direct virtual e-CLASS live teaching programme, via
WorldSpace AfrStar satellite courtesy, which took place between our stand
and our Quatre-Bornes SPES Crafts Trainng Centre. |
A
great "science ecological activity" was our Microscope connection
to a computer and the enlarged viewing of the various natural fibers our
SPES craftspeople extract from plants and weave into designer products.
Other fun-learning activities were "Train the brain" games all
enjoyed. |
As
for our special remedia literacy programmes they were so popular taht
we plan to start training illiterate teenagers and adults withink the
next few weeks to promote employability. |
